Negotiations between the NSW Nursing and Midwife Association <br />and the NSW Ministry of Health began in May 2024. Discussions broke down and sparked the first protests in July 2024, after the government <br />offered a 10.5% increase to pay over three years for workers earning 2008 level wages.
